The Rake Tool is specifically designed for shag carpets, especially ones that combine a variety of yarn thickness and textures. Today’s shag carpets typically have a pile that is longer than 15 mm (more than a ½”). To keep this longer pile plush and from flattening, it is important to rake it periodically.
The Rake Tool is designed to do just that with over 165 sturdy, one inch long plastic bristles (teeth) arranged in four rows to achieve maximum cleaning and sculpting capabilities for shag carpets and rugs with a longer pile.
